Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose Battery Grade owns good alkali stability, can't be hydrolyzed within 15-45℃. It owns excellent acid resistance and salt tolerance, its liquid is very stable, suitable for alkaline battery, CMC Battery Grade is used for electrolyte additives in alkaline batteries, and is also used for zinc manganese battery. Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose Battery Grade is used for thickening pasting agent. It owns good hydrophilism, uniform substitution, stable viscosity, high cohesion. The aqueous solution of CMC Battery Grade owns good transparency and liquidity, low metal content.
As water binder of anode materials, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose Battery Grade has the following three characteristics:
1. Formula weight: Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose Battery Grade owns big formula weight, easy to agglomerate, peel strength is big.
2. Etherification: Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose Battery Grade owns high etherification, little undissolved matter, low etherification and big peel strength.
